The endless opportunities! I’ve been lucky enough to teach, travel and engage with the wider community, all while studying towards my university degrees. Right from school, I’ve had incredible role models, who enthused and inspired me to follow my passion for science. I have since found my niche within the Otago chemistry department, where I have the chance to carry out research, tutor, and take science into both local and international communities. I’ve made connections with so many wonderful people, who have given me the confidence to truly be myself, and now have friends, both here and around the globe.
