“The more I learn, the more I realize how much I don't know.”
― Albert Einstein
Completing a PhD was supposed to make me an expert in my research field. Maybe it did, but every day of my academic life, research and experimentation proves to me just how much I don’t know. Sometimes I lose faith in the knowledge and skills that I have gained. I question my intelligence, my research efforts, and the letters that follow my name.
If you feel the same, hang in there. According to Einstein, that’s how it’s supposed to work.
