When I was at school, I hated science⦠but it turns out I just hadn't found my niche. It wasn't until my biology teacher showed me a clip about the advancing field of genetic engineering that I realized, whether I wanted it or not, this was a field that would affect me. This sparked an interest that has sent me on a path studying the interplay between genetics and the law, and how each work together to affect society, regardless of whether or not we might be interested in, or understand, the science. It is the duty that scientists have to question, challenge, discover, and investigate that has constantly kept me challenged and fascinated.
