I was going to win Nobel Prizes. I was going to be the most amazing practical scientist in the world.
Then they put me in front of a class. And I explained what I understood to students, and they understood it. And then I did it again, and those students understood too.
And I fell in love with teaching science. Explaining properties of matter and how nature works to new minds, and those minds understanding and enjoying it as much as I do is the most rewarding thing I’ve experienced.
My Nobel Prize goals, became noble learning objectives, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
