Anne-Marie Jackson

I am Māori. I am young. I am a woman. I am a Mum. I am from a rural upbringing. My Dad was a shearer. My Mum was a rousie. I grew up working class. I was the first in my family to attend university.

I make the system uncomfortable. There are many others like me – like you. I didn’t listen to the system.

We research mauri ora, or flourishing wellness. Our kaupapa is to uplift the hopes and aspirations of Māori communities. Our communities deserve the best.
