As a school student, I felt that science was about learning a lot of fixed facts and remembering the right answers to questions. It was really surprising to me when I realised that, in fact, the question is so much more important than the answer! There is so much about the universe that is unknown and as scientists we spend our days wondering and asking questions about how the universe works. Often the ‘silliest’ questions yield the most interesting answers so we should never stop asking questions about the world around us – there is still so much to find out!
